Education & Experience
I hold a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Biology from Brown University. I taught for 17 years at San Leandro High School, where I wrote original curriculum and launched a computer science program. During this time, I completed a Master of Science in Educational Technology at California State University, Fullerton. I later worked as Director of Marketing and Social Media for Golden Eagle Properties, where I developed websites and SEO strategies that doubled recruitment in one year.
