I am Richard Styner, an educational technology coach and curriculum designer dedicated to improving teaching and learning through innovative instruction, digital citizenship, and meaningful technology integration. This educational technology portfolio highlights my work with the ISTE Coaching Standards, curriculum writing, professional development, and classroom-centered digital learning projects.
Education and Professional Experience in Educational Technology
I hold a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Biology from Brown University. I taught for 17 years at San Leandro High School, where I created original curriculum and helped launch a computer science program. During that time, I completed a Master of Science in Educational Technology at California State University, Fullerton. I later worked as Director of Marketing and Social Media for Golden Eagle Properties, where I developed websites and SEO strategies that doubled recruitment in one year.
